Josh and I met in July of 2021 at Camp Barakel, a summer camp up in northern Michigan - after a friend told me to look out for him, as we would both be heading up the same week to volunteer. Ironically, "you can marry him if you want" were her exact words that she nonchalantly attached to the end of that sentence... Little did she know I actually would! I did indeed look out for him, and we did indeed meet. Unlike me, Josh had no heads up from our friend, but he noticed me before I even got a chance to introduce myself... At the end of the week working together in the ESDH, he'd ask for my number on the bus ride home, and eventually we'd start a relationship, and well... you know the rest ;)
