June 2019: These kids don't know what's about to hit them! We met serendipitously at Bonnaroo when our two groups camped together. A shared love of music has been a huge part of our relationship!!

September 2019: Our first solo picture together - goofing off and crushing hard on each other while reconnecting at a music festival in Chicago with new friends.

Dec 2019: After establishing a long-distance friendship (BOS/MKE), we saw each other again for NYE in Green Bay. The sparks were flying! We confessed our feelings to each other & grew our connection.

February 2020: Jon visited Boston for a weekend and we made things official!

Mar-May 2020: Helen got stranded in MKE during COVID - we truly put this new relationship to the test and lived together for 2.5 months! We enjoyed many game nights, forts, movie marathons, and walks.

July 2020: Even throughout lockdown, we made time for special experiences - like a trip to Gloucester with our friends Anna and Priyanka.

August 2020: Another low-key, COVID era trip to MKE had Helen falling in love with the city!

November 2020: Jon surprised Helen with a trip to Boston (w/ Maids-of-Honor Christina and Julia) when Helen couldn't make it home for Thanksgiving.

December 2020: Our first Christmas together - outfitted with matching sweaters, naturally!

May 2021: Helen graduated with her Master's from Lesley University. We started hunting for our first apartment together in MKE :)

August 2021: Attending Helen's childhood best friend's wedding (yay Christina and Bradley!) together.

August 2021: We moved into our first apartment together! Our time here was filled with walks to the lake, homemade matchas and board games on Saturday mornings, and incredible meals cooked up by Jon.

August 2021: Our first international trip together to hike in Schliersee, Germany. Jon met Helen's family for the first time and was instantly beloved!

We adopted Petunia and Milo, our perfect lil kitties, and enjoy lots of cuddles and family time together :)

June 2022: Our first time back to Bonnaroo - reminiscing on how we met and connecting further through experiencing live music together.

December 2022: Another Christmas (aka Helen's Birthday Eve) spent in Cincinnati.

March 2023: Our trip to Italy (Venice, Rome) was filled with copious amounts of pistachio gelato :)

December 2023: Another adventure in the books! We spent NYE 2023 in Joshua Tree with friends old and new <3

Feb 2024: Jon proposed during a walk in our favorite park, after a morning spent sipping coffee at our local coffee shop & Jon absolutely destroying Helen in a game of canasta (he made it up to her)

March 2024: We celebrated our engagement with a trip to South Carolina with close friends. We spent the weekend exploring the beach, playing euchre, and feeling the love!

March 2024: Jon was a quick learn on the slopes and kept up with Helen and her family skiing in Obertauern, Austria.

June 2024: I guess we couldn't wait? We spontaneously got legally married at Bonnaroo 2024, 5 years to the day and date of meeting in that very same place!

Our friends made the weekend so INCREDIBLY memorable! There were plenty of surprises, including everyone in our group wearing tie dye to the ceremony, Julia (MOH) making these kickass sneaks for us...

July 2024: Spending time connecting with friends at one of our favorite places, Torch Lake MI.

August 2024: Celebrating closing on a house (!!!) and celebrating love at our close friends' (Olivia & Matthew we love you) wedding!

August 2024: Right after officially getting the keys to our first home together! We've loved building this life together and are so excited for all that's to come <3

September 2024: More adventures together, this time in sunny San Diego :)

October 2024: Dancing our booties off at a Halloween rave in Chicago (wearing Jon's grandfather's original racing suits). We can't wait to see everyone on the dance floor!
