We met at the last church service of the fall semester, at our college focused church. Helen’s homegroup co-leader, Andy Stewart, introduced Helen to Jon. Shoutout to Andy and the Stewart family’s prayers for us! Lol A week later, we went on our favorite coffee date ever, and it’s been history from there.

Jon proposed while overlooking a beautiful mountain sunset in Yosemite. After the initial plan to visit Sequoia Park fell through due to wild fires, Jon drove us 10 hours to the next gorgeous mounatinous overlook, in Yosemite. This park had been one on Helen’s bucketlist for a few years, so what better way to visit than to get engaged there!
