Are kids invited?

We love your kids—we really do...But we want our wedding to be your time off, so....no.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But swimsuits & flops are highly encouraged during the day........and maybe even late night ;)

When should I arrive?

Answer

Our guests are encouraged to arrive as early as 3pm on Friday or anytime on Saturday. We want this to be a weekend of fun in the sun for everyone, swimming, kayaking and canoeing. Feel free to bring outdoor games (cornhole, ladder golf, big jenga, etc.)

If I am staying at the resort do I need to bring my own food?

Answer

Yes! Dinners will be provided Friday and Saturday nights and breakfast on Sunday, but the rest of the time fend for yourselves

This place looks amazing, can I stay here over the weekend?

Answer

Short answer, Yes! Long answer, Cabins and Yurts have already been claimed. All other guests are welcome to camp onsite in Tents, RV's or Campers. Hookups and bathrooms are provided, but camping reservations still need to be made with BMBR due to small fee if camping in any form.

Are there hotels near?

Answer

Yes! Thank you for asking. 2 Hotel blocks have been reserved at the Comfort Inn, Lenoir, NC, and the Holiday Inn Express, Blowing Rock, NC.

Will I have cell phone service or wifi?

Answer

Little to no cell phone service is available at the resort and sparse wifi in the reception hall
