Maria Alm may be a small village, but it's clearly punching above its weight in the hospitality game! With over 110 hotels and guesthouses, it's almost impossible not to find a fantastic place to stay that fits your budget. ------------------------------- Falls ihr ein bisschen Abstand von den anderen Gästen braucht, werdet ihr feststellen, dass Maria Alm mehr bietet, als man auf den ersten Blick denkt! Das kleine Dorf ist eine echte Größe in Sachen Gastfreundschaft. Mit über 110 Hotels und Pensionen ist es fast unmöglich, keine tolle Unterkunft zu finden, die genau zu eurem Budget passt.

Flight

Flight Recommendations

The closest airport to Maria Alm is Salzburg Airport (SZG), which is approximately a one-hour drive away. However, we recommend you also consider flying into Munich Airport (MUC). While it's a bit farther from Maria Alm (about a two-hour drive), you'll likely find more flight options and better prices, especially for international travel. As a bonus, we highly recommend taking some time to explore Munich; it's a beautiful city!

Rental Car

Car Rental Recommendations

While Austria is known for its excellent public transport, getting to and from Maria Alm in the countryside can be a bit more challenging. For this reason, we highly recommend that you consider renting a car. It will give you the freedom to explore the beautiful area at your own pace and will make getting to and from the wedding events much more convenient. There are several car rental agencies available at both Munich and Salzburg airports. We suggest connecting with other guests to share a car, making it a fun and cost-effective option. If you plan to rent a car in Germany, please be sure to check that the rental policy allows you to drive the vehicle across the border into Austria - and vice versa !
