Where should we stay?

Answer

We strongly recommend staying on-site at Memorytown if possible, even if just for Sunday night. It's such a cool little place and we think walking home from the reception will be both fun and safer than driving. If there isn't enough space at Memorytown, we are setting aside a room block at the Swiftwater, which is a hotel less than 10 minutes away from Memorytown by car.

What day should I arrive?

Answer

We're planning to get to PA on Friday (10/11) to set up and prepare everything to have a great time with all our guests, but our assumption is that many people will arrive on Saturday in order to enjoy the welcome nightcap with us. For logistical reasons, some people might decide to arrive on Sunday, but we'd generally recommend against this if a Saturday arrival is possible instead. Memorytown has a late check-in time (4pm) for their guest rooms/cabins, and because our ceremony begins at 4:30pm, it could be a fast turnaround time for those arriving on the later side. Please consider enjoying a full fall weekend in the woods with us - we can't wait to see you all there!
