Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 26th, 2025. If you do not RSVP by that date we will miss your presence at our wedding.

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception address is 340 South Mian Street Columbia, Illinois 62236. There is wheelchair-accessibility located on the right side of the venue beside the outdoor terrace.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

All venues are connected and at the same location. No need to travel between the ceremony and reception!

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

Yes! There is a large parking lot connected to the venue. Guests can leave their cars in the lot until 9 am the day after the wedding.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

Answer

We will not be providing a shuttle to or from the hotels. Please plan ahead and order an Uber or Lyft if traveling far from home.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony and reception will be located inside the Abbey. The cocktail hour will be in a covered outside terrace.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

NO PRINCESS AND THE FROG COSTUMES PLEASE. The couple is doing something special. The dress code is semi-formal wedding attire. However! This is a Halloween wedding, and we want to have fun. Guests are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes if desired. KEEP COSTUMES FAMILY-FRIENDLY! If unsure of your outfit, please check with Christian or Helena.

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

Weather in and around St. Louis is generally unpredictable. However, it will be late October, expect cold temps, and a possibility of rain or light snow. Bring a jacket, coat, or cover, there is a coat closet in the Abbey.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are having an intimate wedding, and this being the case we are limiting plus-ones. If your wedding invite specifically states that you may bring a plus-one, you may! Otherwise please talk and chat with our friends and family we lovingly invited.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Similar to our plus one policy! We will specifically note in your wedding invite if your children are invited. We have a limited amount of space for children. We apologize if this affects your decision to join us.
