We met in 2018 at a Whitney concert in Logan Square! It was technically Justin's 31st birthday party that I crashed as the new girl in town.

On January 21, 2023, we picked out a 1920s vintage art deco ring in citrine and amythyst at New York Jewelers on Wabash. Afterward, we headed to the Studebaker Theater for a magical production of to Plexus Polaire’s production of Moby Dick. Even though our formal engagement would come in March at my grandparent's cottage in Glenn, this was the night we knew we made the right decision to spend the rest of our lives together! It was intentional. It was soulful. It was snowing. It was us.
