We connected via Tinder and after what Erik describes as an extensive, text message interview process we finally met. This first date may have commenced with a super cheesy 'airport style' hug in the middle of the road and ended with bowling. Erik, Aysah and I have been having super cheesy moments and laughs ever since then and are so looking forward to a lifetime of them together and sharing many of them with all of you.

After 4 plus years together, one 30yr mortgage/extensive home renovation, two guinea pigs and a whole lot of memories we got engaged. As much as we were both very clear that this was the real thing, our engagement was a complete surprise to me(I thought he'd take at least five more years planning), but no one else. Erik managed to pull off a perfect 80's themed mini prom with 8 of our dear friends and their S.O's getting me there under the false pretenses of a special 29th birthday date. The gallery was decked out with teal and pink balloons, paper lanterns, candles everywhere, strobe lights, and a meticulously timed playlist. While we were in ridiculous coral 80's style dress clothes, dancing and eating way to much food. It was such a fun night and so very us.
