One word: Delicious. This bakery has everything from macaroons to assorted cookies to the best cardamom cake I have ever tasted..... (Cant wait to sample our wedding cake!). Don't forget to check out the other local shops in the Prescott Ave district.

If you are looking for a delicious way to cool off, check out the amazing seasonal flavors 402 has to offer. It is one of our favorites!
Boiler Brewing Company Tap Room
One of the best local breweries in town! Whether it is an IPA, Stout or a Mead you are looking for they have you covered with great concoctions like "You Got Peanut Butter in My Chocolate" or "Boiler O Festivus." Don't forget to check out the Downtown Brewery as well!
Lincoln Children's Zoo
One of the kids favorites! Smaller than Henry Doorly but will definitely keep you entertained. Come check out the giraffes, penguins and the new cheetah exhibit that just opened this summer.
The Mill Coffee & Tea
Don't forget to get your coffee or tea after stopping next door at Goldenrod. The Mill has a wide variety of teas and some of the best locally brewed coffee in town. It's my Saturday morning treat. There are several locations around town to ensure you get your caffeine fix!
Sunken Gardens
Across the street from the Zoo. If you are looking to relax and take in some beautiful views, look no further. Developed in 1930 the area holds over 30,000 individual annual plants which are redesigned to a different theme each year. The theme for this year is "Moon River".
