Torchy's Tacos
Austin is known for tacos/Tex-Mex, and we always make it a point to stop here as an Austin staple. There are multiple locations but this is my favorite one!
South Congress Avenue
One of Austin's most famous streets - I've lived on this street the last year and it's filled of great shopping, fun & classic Amy's Ice cream and Jo's coffeehouse, as well as eclectic and fancy eats! I'd recommend going earlier in the morning to avoid the heat and crowd!
P. Terry's Burger Stand
My favorite burger place! This is my favorite location - though they are all over Austin! I'm a big fan of their black bean burger
Barton Springs Municipal Pool
If you're up for a very REFRESHING swim (aka very cold) this is the place to go - another Austin classic.
Gourdough's Public House
James is OBSESSED with this place - think, donuts and burgers (but not as weird as it sounds)
Walton's Fancy & Staple
This is my favorite brunch spot, and who's catering our wedding!
West/East 6th Street
If you're up for a crazy night out, opt for "dirty" aka East 6th street. West 6th is slightly more 'mature' and my favorite spot is Irenes for light bites and an ice-cream dipped in fruity pebbles :)
The Oasis On Lake Travis
Definitely a beautiful site-seeing opportunity of Lake Travis - not the best for food. I'd go around sunset to watch it set on the lake!
