They are both from a small town known as Silver Creek New York with a graduating class of less than 70 people. In fact, they graduated high school the same year and are less than 2 months apart in age. It wasn't until Kate graduated nursing school in 2018 that she decided to move back home to Silver Creek. That is when Joe came into the picture. She was on the lookout for a new apartment to rent, somewhere closer to her new place of employment. Joe happened to be finishing his first apartment remodel and reached out to Katelyn as a prospective tenant. The rest was history. By 2022 they were set to wed, share a home, two dogs, a cat, and a small farm together!
