But...What do I wear?

My favorite question! Our wedding dress code is cocktail attire—think fall! We encourage guests to wear long dresses in the rich colors and hues of autumn, like deep reds, oranges, yellows, and earthy tones, in various patterns and textures. For men, this typically means a nice suit or a dress shirt with dress pants. Please be mindful of the weather, as October temperatures in North Carolina can be unpredictable.

What time should I arrive?

We kindly ask that guests arrive by 4:30 PM to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and getting settled before the ceremony begins.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We’re keeping the wedding small and personal, so we’ve limited the guest list. If your invitation doesn't mention a +1, we’re unable to accommodate extra guests, but I hope you understand! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones—we really do! However, we’ve chosen to make the wedding adult-only. We hope this doesn’t cause too much of a hassle, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available at the venue. There will be plenty of spots, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding a place to park. If you need any additional details or help with directions, feel free to reach out!

Will the wedding events take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is set to take place outdoors, weather permitting, with a beautiful fall backdrop. The reception will have both indoor and outdoor options, but we’ll be dining indoors. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we have a lovely indoor space for both the ceremony and reception. Either way, we’re excited to celebrate with you!

May I take pictures during the ceremony?

We ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the special moments, and we can’t wait to share those with you later! Feel free to take as many photos as you like during the reception. We will also have a 360 photo booth to take awesome videos!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We’ve pre-purchased alcohol for the event, so there will be plenty to enjoy! However, once it runs out, that’s all we’ll have available. We’re excited to raise a glass and celebrate with you! **Please note that guests are not permitted to bring any outside alcohol, and taking shots will not be allowed.**
