Cameron and I met when he had long hair, that flipped up at the bottom, and mine was platinum blonde on the top, with black underneath. Cameron calls this my "skunk hair." The fact that we were so enamored by each other during that phase of our lives means we must be off to a pretty good start. Cam was one of the kindest people I had ever met, and the cutest (it's those blue eyes, I swear). I remember telling my friends that I would never date someone younger than me, but here we are. I spent the remainder of my senior year going to his soccer games, and enjoying the two little brothers I never knew I wanted. I went off to college in Montana, and Cameron continued with high school (he was a sophomore when I was a senior). As you can imagine, long distance was hard, but we were determined to make our relationship work because we knew we had something special. We spent a lot of time praying for each other, our relationship and our future. Two years later, Cameron graduated high school and left for college in Arizona, while I was still finishing my degree at Gonzaga University. Fast forward a few years, and a couple states later, and we finally moved home to Washington together. We spent three years living in a small apartment in the middle of my uncle's mobile home park, with no washer or dryer, but only 50 feet away from our best friends, and we couldn't have loved it more! Now, we are living in our first home together (it might be a mobile home, but we love it) and getting married. We cannot wait to be surrounded by our closest friends and family as we take on this next chapter!
