FAQs

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, or if you ask the bride, wear something that makes you feel HOT! The vibe is art nouveau/art deco if that appeals to you.

Question

Can I bring my kids/significant other?

Answer

We have reserved a number of seats for your household as indicated on your invitation, and when applicable, specific members of your household are named on your RSVP form. If you have specific questions about bringing someone who is not in your household or on your RSVP, please reach out to the bride or groom.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 15 minutes early for the ceremony. We will be starting on time!

Question

How far are the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Please plan to drive or carpool between these venues. It is only about a 15 minute drive.

Question

What should I know about these venues?

Answer

Bethlehem Covenant is street parking only. There will be a marked drop-off zone in front of the church for accessibility. There is an elevator just inside the front doors. Midland Hills Country Club has its own parking lot, and also has a drop off point near the doors. Please pay attention to the signs at the venue, as the reception entrance is to the right of the main entrance. Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors, though there will be a space at the reception to hang out around a fire pit and play outdoor games.

Question

Will Emily be changing her name?

Answer

Emily will be hyphenating her last name, becoming Emily Heilman-Visness. Unfortunately for all of us, Ben has refused to become the Heinesses (pronounced "highness").
