FAQs

If you have more questions, feel free to reach out to the bride or groom! We do ask that you do not reach out in regards to the wedding the day of or the week leading up to ensure that we can enjoy our special day distraction free!
Question

When Do I Need to RSVP By?

Answer

We request that you RSVP by 9/7/2026. If you do not RSVP by then, we will take that as a "No" to ensure that we are able to finalize all details and share all needed information in time. If you are no longer able to attend after RSVPing, please attempt to let the bride or groom know.

Question

When should we arrive for the Ceremony?

Answer

We ask you to please arrive by 2:45pm to ensure you are able to park, enter, and find seating before the ceremony starts. If you are late, you will not be able to enter during the ceremony to ensure that there are no interruptions. We would love you all to be present at the ceremony, so make sure to give yourself ample time to get to the venue!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us on this special night! We ask for you to please dress in cocktail attire. For men, this looks like suit and tie or a nice blazer and dress pants. For women this can be seen in slightly longer dresses. Do take note that our wedding will be taking place in November in Wisconsin, temperatures can range from a high of 40 degrees to a low of 20 degrees with snow so please dress accordingly since there is a little walk from the parking to the venue. We do recommend either wearing or bringing comfortable shoes to change into for our reception! While you will see the bridesmaids wearing dresses in a terracotta/rust color, the only thing we ask is that you do not wear white or similar colors!

Question

Is there parking at the Venue?

Answer

There is street and parking structure parking. The parking structure can be found on Pine St. which is a short 1 minute walk to the venue. Both are free after 6pm on Fridays through the weekend. If you are arriving before 6pm on Friday, it is $1/hour or $12/day! Please note that you are not able to park overnight on the streets.

Question

Can I bring a date/are kids invited?

Answer

As much as we would love to celebrate with as many people as possible, we kindly ask that you follow the number of people stated on your invitation to ensure that we continue to fit into capacity for our venue. Kids are invited along with their families in the invitations. We do ask that if children are having problems staying quiet during the ceremony to please quietly excuse yourself.

Question

Are pets allowed?

Answer

While pets are allowed at Hotel Northland, the event coordinator asked for pets to please remain out of the event spaces the wedding will take place in. If you plan to bring pets, they will be required to stay in your hotel room during wedding festivities.

Question

I have a food allergy/preference, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our venue is a scratch kitchen so will be able to accommodate any food allergies and preferences as long as you inform us when you RSVP!

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that our ceremony stays unplugged and phones/cameras are put away. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture our special day! We can't wait to take photos with you during the reception.
