Since I am from Tennessee and Noah is from Southern California, only God could have had our paths cross and given us such a wonderful story! Noah and I met during our first semester at Golden State Baptist College in the fall of 2019 . He first saw me when the college had an activity to Pier 39 during the opening week, and I noticed him shortly after. Our paths didn't cross much since we had different classes, until I noticed that many mornings, he "happened" to walk out of his dorm for breakfast at the same time that I did. We would sometimes eat breakfast together, and I enjoyed getting to know him more. In the summer of 2020, Noah took a trip to Tennessee so my family could meet him, and they all agreed with me that he was wonderful! In August of 2022, Noah and I said "I love you" to each other for the first time. It was so special to hear how the Lord had confirmed to both of us that we were the one for each other. On New Year's 2023, Noah was once again visiting in Tennessee, and he asked if we could go hiking at a state park in the afternoon and retake the first picture we took together in 2019. We hiked down to the bottom of a beautiful waterfall, and as I was trying to get positioned for the picture, he got on one knee behind me and called my name. I turned around, and he proposed! And I said "Yes!!" A few days after our engagement, Noah received a call from a pastor in Hawaii offering him a position in the church. After much prayer and Noah visiting the church in Hawaii, we feel the Lord would have us serve in this ministry after we are married. We would appreciate your prayers as we begin working in this ministry and start our life together!
