Heidi and Max met at their friend Liv's fitness modelling competition at Shelly's. They both turned up to support Liv after supporting her throughout her prep, and had so much fun chatting and laughing together. Max added Heidi on Snapchat later that day, and the rest is history. Over the next few months, a one-of-a-kind friendship built on deep, honest conversations bloomed, and slowly became a one-of-a-kind relationship. 2024 marked a decade of love, and every year just keeps getting better and better.
"We were gifted a voucher for a Tiny Home escape from our best friend, Kelsie, for Christmas 2023. We decided to book our getaway to Tiny Edmund in the beautiful hills of Robertson. Max said it would double up as a romantic weekend away to also celebrate my birthday. We arrived on the afternoon of the 19th of April, cooked dinner over the fire, and enjoyed an evening under the stars. The next morning, the clouds were low and the rain was heavy. Snuggled up in the cosy loft, Max said his feet were cold and went to grab some socks. He returned with a smirk on his face, holding the socks and a folded piece of paper. Our conversation went a little something like this: "What are you up to?" "I wrote you a letter." "Will I cry?" "Maybe." Max then proceeded to read out the most heartfelt love letter that, indeed, made me cry. At the end, Max pulled an incredible ring out of the socks and said four of the most anticipated words of my life: "Will you marry me?" There were many tears, long hugs, and so much love. "YES!" We then enjoyed each other's company and played a murder mystery game supplied by the Tiny Home, before sharing the news with family and friends. A weekend we will never, ever forget." - Heidi
