How we Met

A Love Meant To Be

We first met when I was a sophomore and he was a freshman in high school. While many people think that’s when we both fell in love, the truth is that he fell in love first. He later told me it was love at first sight and that he knew he wanted to get to know me. At the time, I was in a relationship, so we remained friends and never imagined our paths would cross again in such a meaningful way. Even as the years passed, there was one thing that never changed: every year, without fail, he would send me a message on my birthday. Those small gestures kept us connected, even when our lives were moving in different directions. Then, during my sophomore year of college, everything changed. Just one month before my birthday, we saw each other again for the first time in years. He had enrolled at BVU, where I was studying, and when we reconnected, we both felt that this time was different. We quickly became inseparable, spending time together every day. Then, on my birthday, we shared our first kiss—a moment that marked the beginning of our journey together. Nearly seven years later, our love is stronger than ever. Through every season of life, God has been at the center of our relationship. We believe He brought us back to each other in His perfect timing, and we are so grateful for the path that led us here. We cannot wait to begin this next chapter together as husband and wife.
