We’re getting married!

Who would have ever thought that Heidi’s Kindergarten reading buddy would introduce her to her future husband twenty years later! It started with a blind text, turned into a blind date, and ended in forever. So how did it all begin? Heidi and Jonathan were given each other’s phone numbers by a mutual friend and they hit it off right away! The sparks flew and they knew they had to meet. They hadn't even left the parking lot after their first date when Heidi called her best friend and declared that this was the man she was going to marry. It didn't take long for these two to fall in love and the rest is history!

Talk about a surprise! When planning their dream Disney World vacation Heidi didn’t know that Jonathan had been making plans of his own. For their trip, Heidi and Jon stayed at the Walt Disney World Boardwalk Inn! The first evening they arrived and went to explore the Boardwalk and everything it had to offer. As they walked hand in hand they talked about their fun filled day and the plans for tomorrow. They had reached the end of the Boardwalk and Jon had still not found the perfect spot he had been researching for months! Heidi was ready to head back to their room for the evening but Jonathan insisted that they had missed part of the Boardwalk so on they went. They reached the Sea Breeze Point, a stunning turn-of-the-century gazebo that sits on the shores of Crescent Lake! For a split second, Heidi thought it would be a gorgeous spot for a proposal but brushed it out of her mind. Since two days prior she had asked her mother if Jon had ask for her parent’s blessing and she had said no, and she wasn’t lying either. Little did Heidi know that Jon had asked at the very last minute before they left to go on their trip. As they looked over the water, Jon asked Heidi what her favorite part of the day was and then went in for the shock factor. Jonathan told Heidi, “I don’t want you to be my girlfriend anymore.” She was in shock, he promises now that everything nice he had planned to say went out the window! As Heidi’s mouth gapped open Jonathan got down on one knee and said, “Because I want you to be my wife. Heidi will you marry me?” After the initial shock wore off Heidi said, “Oh my gosh, babe! Yes!” about 20x! And the ring was slipped onto her finger. The rest of the trip was like a dream, their very own fairytale! Here’s to the start of their Happily Ever After!
