Eharmony. Yes, this is an eharmony wedding. LOL! Anyone who has ever done online dating knows it's not fun. In December 2021, a dear friend of mine died suddenly before Christmas break. He had been married for a long time. I decided to be more proactive in my online search. I had searched the local area for several months with no luck so I decided to expand my search. After a few more days of rejections, I decided to expand my search as far as it would go. This was my "it will never happen" moment. I searched the world! Since my ex was named James, I decided not to wink at anyone with the name James. Great name but I didn't want my current boyfriend to have the same name as my last fiancé. As I was quickly rejecting men with the name James, I stopped at this handsome photo of a man in a kilt. He looked so adorable and interesting with the 3 medals he was holding. I hesitated. His name was James. He's so cute. His name is James. He lives in Glasgow! He will never reply to my wink, so I sent him a wink. He replied with a message and we started talking. On 27 February 2022, he asked me to be his girlfriend. In August 2022, we finally met in person. In March 2023, we met again in person. In the summer 2023 we spent June and July together. For the 2024 New Year, he came to visit and on 5 January 2024, he got on one knee and asked, "Heidi, will you marry me?". I said, "Yes! A thousand times: YES!!" Our next chapter begins on 12 October 2024, I hope to see you there.
