The couple first met when Heidi had Frank’s mother, Sylvia, as her 5th grade teacher. During school vacation both families went to Disney and by coincidence, saw each other in front of the “Country Bear Jamboree.” Years later, Frank and Heidi went to Conval Regional High School where they started spending more time together their freshman year. Through college they drifted apart although always kept in touch, it wasn’t until 2014 when they reconnected. In 2015 they relocated to Greenfield and together (with the help of many family and friends) renovated the Shea family’s farmhouse. Since renovating their house, they continue making improvements with the help of their dog and cat, Bailey and Lily.

Frank gifted Heidi a pair of diamond earrings; was told the earrings would “match well with what was on the tree.” Frank had placed the ring on a branch of their Christmas tree. He got down on a knee and asked the question!
