FAQs

There is never a silly question! Here are some commonly asked questions that we hope will answer that itch in the back of your brain. If you have any additional questions that are not listed here, please feel free to reach out to the Mother of the Bride (Tiffany Greer).
Question

Am I allowed a plus one?

Answer

While we love a big party, there is sadly a limit on who we could allow to attend. If you received an invitation with your name only, we are confident you will know at least one person you can party with!

Question

Are my kids invited to come?

Answer

Similar to the extra guest question, if your kid(s)'s names are on the invitation, please bring them if you can! If your kids are not on the invitation, take it as a date night or weekend for yourself! We love kids, but please respect our guestlist choices. If you have a concern or question, please do not hesitate to reach out!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The bride and groom ask that you dress to impress! No jeans, t-shirts, or shorts please at the event! We also ask that you avoid dark colors if you can, particularly black. Our guest list is compiled of the people we love the most, you light up our life! Dress bright and bold if you can! And, as always, do not wear white to the wedding :)

Question

I have an allergy, will there be a food option for me?

Answer

Great question! The main course meal will be tree nut free and we will have gluten free pasta available. We are catering from Olive Garden. Please look at their menu for further details. Please list your food allergy when you RSVP!

Question

Tell Me More About the Venue!

Answer

We are all about convenience, so we will be married, eating, and dancing all at the same location! How exciting! The venue is also wheelchair accessible with a ramp at the entrance. The address is: 260 S Washington St Carpentersville, IL 60110 United States

Question

Will I go through tolls on the way to the wedding?

Answer

Most likely, yes. Illinois has an abundance of toll roads which is not ideal, but sadly we cannot change that. We would recommend becoming familiar with the Illinois Toll website if you discover the ideal route to the venue includes these. If you have trouble with the website or are driving from out of state, please contact the Father of the Groom (Mitchell Greer) and he will further inform you on his insight.

Question

Should I dress for the weather?

Answer

We are having an indoor wedding and reception with air conditioning! You might get warm from dancing, but otherwise that decision is up to your digression.

Question

What time should I arrive at the wedding?

Answer

Please arrive to the venue no later than 10 minutes before the start time listed on your invitation, and no earlier than 1 hour before!

Question

Are we allowed to take photos during the wedding?

Answer

During the ceremony, we will ask that no one takes any pictures of the bridal party, bride, or groom. While we understand you want to save this special day on your camera roll, we have a professional photographer and videographer who are extremely talented. We will make sure our guests have photos to save after the wedding! During the dance party, please take your phones out to the floor to take videos and photos!

Question

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be an abundance of parking! If you can carpool with family or friends, that would be a great option to save on gas, but we understand sometimes you need a car ride to yourself!
