We met Feb 2019 when Heidi was finishing up a travel nursing assignment on Maui. We hit it off immediately & were pretty inseparable for Heidi’s last month. Haleakala sunrise was 1 of our 1st dates.

In July of that year Eric flew up to Seattle to visit Heidi on another assignment. We made our relationship official and took a road trip up to Vancouver, Canada.

Heidi also flew back to Maui a few times to see Eric, resort hop, and swim with sea turtles.

Eric is a PADI Scuba Instructor and certified Heidi to dive. It’s one of our favorite things to do together! (We did it A LOT during COVID)

We enjoyed every second we had together. And all those gorgeous Maui sunsets.

But because long distance sucks Heidi took a job at Maui Memorial and moved to Hawaii in March of 2020.

2020 didn’t allow for much true travel (which we love) but we did manage to get a few solid staycations in.

We spend our time together hiking and scuba diving and traveling and just trying to enjoy this beautiful island we live on.

We also still really love going up to Haleakala and looking out over the ocean and the other islands. It always feels like the first time.

Everything is fun when we’re together.

We got engaged February 19, 2022 after almost THREE years together. He picked the perfect ring. He proposed in front of a bunch of our friends at sunset. She cried & said yes. It was magic!

We took a trip to Kauai for Heidi’s 40th in April-where Eric initially planned to propose before he got too excited! We love each other & Hawaii & are stoked to celebrate with you in 2023!

We joined the Lahaina Yacht Club and love to go over there for dinner & sunset.

We’re planning to take sailing lessons at the LYC this year. But for now enjoy paddle boarding and going on their sailboat!

We’ve been together for 3 years, but because of COVID most of my family is still meeting Eric. My older sister and her family came to Maui for 10 days to chill with us.

We biked down Haleakala and it was RAD! This is a great activity for anyone interested next year.

It was seriously SUCH a blast!

We spent two days at Disney and it was a blast!

Then we went to Vegas for a few days to hang with some friends. And I got to show Eric a few of my favorite places, like Red Rock.

Our 2nd Thanksgiving with our Neptune's Den family.

We went up to Haleakala to check out the lava on Big Island but all we got was cold! So many clouds that night!
