We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places and things to do in the area!

One of our top recommendations is a kayak tour of the Apostle Islands. Depending on the weather, this is a once in a lifetime experience. The fall colors should make it extra spectacular!

Apostle Islands Tours

Based out of Bayfield, this company offers many options for sailing adventures on Lake Superior, including a happy hour that costs just $58 for over an hour of sailing on the beautiful lake with views of the Apostle Island lakeshore.

Dreamcatcher Sailing Charters

One of the many Apple Orchards in the Bayfield, WI area close to our venue. During the fall, this is a must! Most orchards serve hot drinks, offer "pick your own" apple options, live music, and food vendors.

Erickson Orchard & Country Str

Another fabulous Apple Farm with an on-site Apfelhaus Cidery, complete with free tastings. They also offer free hayrides and pony rides for children.

Hauser's Superior View Farm

This is a par 72 course with enormous greens and spectacular, panoramic view of Lake Superior.

Apostle Highlands Golf Course

This disc/frisbee golf course is just minutes from our venue.

Lake Superior View Golf

Take the ferry out to one of the bigger Apostle Islands. Enjoy the beautiful fall views from the lake on the trip over to Madeline Island.

Madeline Island Ferry - Bayfield Terminal

For some light hiking, this nature preserve offers a 1.3 mile hike that's accessible all-year round. Dog-friendly trail and located in Washburn, WI.

Houghton Falls Nature Preserve (Parking Area)

One of our favorite trails to hike, but a bit of a drive. A 3-mile hike round trip takes you to a beautiful waterfall.

Lost Creek Falls

A special meadery/winery located in Iron River, WI. About 35 minutes away, but worth the trek if you want some special libations. Cole and I stopped here after we got engaged for a celebratory tasting with his aunt & uncle!

White Winter Winery

A must! Owned by my Aunt & Uncle. Located about 25 minutes away in Cornucopia, WI. Special hours in the fall. They will be providing treats for our wedding receptions.

Cornucopia Coffee and Sweet Shoppe

Beautiful coffee bar and restaurant located right on the water in Ashland, WI. About a ten minute drive from our venue. They have wine, too!
