We met at Sons of Liberty Alehouse in San Leandro on September 14, 2021. We agreed to meet for a drink, which turned into two, and we ended up talking all night. We didn't even notice how long we had been there until the staff was putting up chairs, wiping down tables, and we realized that we were the last two people in the restaurant. That was our cue to leave- our date had come to an end, but our story had just begun.
