The Houston Livestock and Rodeo is located at NRG Stadium. It's accessible by car and the MetroRail. Please continue checking their website for an updated calendar of events including live music.

The Menil Collection

1533 Sul Ross Street, Houston, TX 77006

Make like Heidi and read, or do yoga, under one of the large white oak trees. Admission to the museum and art galleries are by donation. You can easily walk to the unique, interfaith Rothko Chapel too.

Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern

105b Sabine Street, Houston, TX 77007

This is a unique way to learn about Houston's subsurface architecture and history. It's great for groups, solo-travelers, and rainy days.

401 Franklin Street, Houston, TX 77002

This is a cool dining hall that also provides access to an expansive five-acre urban rooftop park including a sustainable organic garden. If it's raining, this is a great spot to visit and get your steps in!
