Austin and Megan's story began in the fall of 2022 when a mutual friend decided to play matchmaker and gave each other their snapchats. They both agreed to add each other on snapchat and started talking. When they first started talking, Austin was in college at Wahpeton and Megan was working in Mandan which meant many hours were spent on phone calls and FaceTime between class and work. They instantly clicked and after all the long conversations over the weeks, they finally decided it was time to meet each other. In November 2022, they went on their first date and after a few more dates they officially became a couple on December 18th. Austin still had another semester of college, so they had to make the best of a long-distance relationship. They spent as much time as they could together while being in different places. Austin graduated from Wahpeton and moved back to Hazen which meant they were only an hour away from each other and were able to spend more time together. Together they enjoy working on little projects here and there, hunting, fishing, camping, kayaking, and travelling together. There's barely a dull moment between these two and they are looking forward to spending the rest of life together.
