How far is Lake Geneva from Chicago?

Here's the quick answer without making any stops. Lake Geneva is about 83 miles north of Chicago. Nonstop drive: 83 miles or 134 km Driving time: 1 hour, 29 minutes If you are coming from Chicago take 94 heading towards Milwaukee.

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is gift enough, but, should you wish to give a gift as well, a cash gift to put towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a block of rooms?

Answer

We have a hotel block* under the “Travel” section of the website. *The block of rooms are 1 bedroom Villas at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations at the Grand Geneva. Spacious 1 bedroom 1 bath 531 sq. ft. villa. Sleeps up to 4. Enjoy meals together in a fully equipped kitchen and dining room. Includes TV in living room and bedroom, DVD player, king-sized bed, sleeper sofa, balcony view of golf course and free Wi-Fi in villa and common areas.Each Villa has a queen size bed and sleeper sofa. It has kitchen and living room. Minimum 2 nights stay. For more details please go the Travel section of the site.

What if I do not want to stay at the block. Do you have any other hotels you recommend?

Is the Wedding and Reception indoors or outdoors?

Both the Wedding and Reception are indoors. Please refer to the Schedule Section for more details or refer to your wedding invite.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Unfortunately there is not a parking lot at the church or out Reception Venue- The Riviera. The reception is 2 blocks from the church. Most parking is metered street parking.

Can we go to the reception right after the Wedding?

Answer

We do have a cocktail hour from 5-6 pm. We will have appetizers and drinks served. Please refer to the Schedule Section for more information.

Do you have an open bar?

Answer

We have a limited open bar. Soft beverages and water will be provided. Both red and white wines will be available at the bar.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event ( exception of family) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

RSVP Deadline is May 12th. You can mail it back to us or RSVP on the site. If you want to RSVP on the site go to the RSVP section, search for your name and RSVP to the events you will attending. There are several events to RSVP to besides the wedding. Please make sure click on all the ones you are attending.

As long as you add them to your RSVP. Please let us know so we can let the caterer know.

Can I post pictures on Social Media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #heichman2022 or #wmackcat2022 so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Do you have a theme?

Answer

Vintage, Old Hollywood. Our colors are navy blue and grey. We will have pops of silver as well. The women will be in navy and the men will be in grey.

What are you doing to take precaution against COVID?

Answer

We suggest that all guests take a PCR test and test negative within 24 hours to arrival.
