We Do!

We officially met on social media, but we've always had an eye for each other since High School. Now the weird part is that we grew up within the same circle of friends but somehow our paths never crossed. We always said to each other that if we would have met in high school, we don't know how different our lives would be, but we know we would have probably gotten married by the time we graduated haha. Fast forward, 2017, one day he decided to "shoot his shot" and replied to a snapchat I laughed at with a long message… and honestly the rest was history. We would write paragraphs to each other, you would think we were back in the high school sweet heart days. After messaging for almost two weeks, he asked if he could take me out and I said yes. He took me out to dinner and it was one of the best nights of our lives. One thing I will never forget is him ordering a glass of milk for me after he realized the pasta I had order was a little too spicy for me. He remembered me mentioning to the waitress that I couldn't have spicy food, and they ended up putting some spice in it. By the time I came back from the bathroom, I had a tall glass of milk waiting on the table for me to calm my mouth down. That night we went out for drinks and then he took me home and we walked around my apartment community for almost an hour just talking until 2:30am. This night would change our lives as we know it and there is nothing we do differently now. Our love grew each and everyday more and more and now here we are!

On May 28th, 2021 I asked the love of my life to be my forever. I know during our first visits to Disney Sharom always told me it would be a dream of hers to be proposed to at her dream show, which was Lion King at Animal Kingdom. From that day forward I knew that I was going to do anything I could to make that happen. Little did she know…one day her dream would come true and the one proposing would be me. Every time we would go to Disney, I would always have in the back of my mind how I could pull off a proposal at the park. I would scope out little locations and sceneries in my mind during are days at Disney and day dream about the day. The day that would soon come and I would get down on one knee and look my beautiful queen in her pretty glowing face and ask her to be my wife. What’s a better setting then proposing to a Princess in front of a Princess palace! Well, that’s exactly what I did. I was looking for the perfect place in front of the castle. I found the perfect spot and communicated with the Disney photographer what was going to happen and she was all in. Once everyone arrived, I told everyone to take pictures in front of the castle and Sharom and I would take the final pictures and that’s when the true magic would happen. As they take pictures of just us, I kneel down a bit to kiss her stomach since our first child Nohemi was still in her momma’s stomach. After kissing her stomach I dropped down on one knee in full confidence Sharom would say yes immediately, INSTEAD she was so shocked she was speechless. It was the most amazing thing to see so much joy in someone you love. I brought so much joy to someone I love unconditionally! There is no way to explain the love I felt when making my queen mine forever. The rest of the day I stayed on a high, and still to this day to know I am marrying the love of my life my high continues and I hope and pray it continues forever because I’ve never felt anything better then the love that I feel when I’m with her.
