"I never wanted to get married; I only wanted to fish. But then I met you, and now I fish less." That's what John said to Laura when he told her he loved her. He was very sweetly (and goofily) telling her that his life's priorities had changed. He loved to fish, but now he loved her more. He still fishes several times a week.
