We're getting married!

We met at our friends' house in Green Lake, WI on Labor Day weekend in 2018. We both knew we had an instant connection & started dating a few weeks later on September 23rd. After 6 years of adventures together, James (FINALLY) proposed on November 17, 2024!

About a week before James proposed, he told Samantha that he had a work event in downtown Oshkosh. Samantha didn't think twice about this because 2 months prior, they went to Lambeau Field for a work event for James. The morning of November 17th comes around (Samantha is still completely clueless) & they head to Oshkosh. Samantha asks James where this event is in Oshkosh but James says he doesn't know the name of the place but knows where it is. They walk into the building and it's set up beautifully. A man with a camera greets them as they walk in, Samantha (still completely oblivious) says "Oh my gosh! I wonder if someone is getting married here this weekend! It looks like it's set up for a wedding! We're going to be late for your work even though! Do you know where to go?" James leads her to the stage & says, "Today is your day". Samantha is completely taken by surprise when he gets down on his knee & asks her to marry him. A few moments later, some of our closest friends walk in to celebrate with us.
