Man of Honor
Best Friend to the Bride/ Full Time Third Wheel to the Bride and Groom Adam and Maddy met in their final quarter of undergrad at UC Davis, where they instantly became best friends taking exercise bio classes together, going to the famous “Davis Far Mar” (farmer’s market), and exploring the various ways to quickly consume large amounts of beer. They are now getting their DPT’s together in Arlington, VA (where Adam lived with the lovely couple for 2 years) and are drinking slightly less beer than in their heyday. Talk to him about San Diego, music, tennis, and embarrassing things that Maddy and Colin do. Challenge him to anything (especially drinking beer) and expect him to be upset if you beat him.
Best Man
Childhood Best Friend of the Groom Ryan and Colin have been best friends since they were little boys. He was so happy to be asked to be Colin’s best man and to be a part of this special day! When Ryan and Colin are together you can expect to see them out playing sports, video games, and especially RuneScape. Even after Colin moved to the US, he and Ryan have found ways to stay close and make memories. Nothing can separate them! Ryan is super handy with tools and loves working with his hands. If you can't find him, he might be checking to make sure the brewery's electrical system is up to code. Talk to Ryan about his current projects - at work and on his house. He's also keen to chat about just about anything.. put a drink in his hand and he'll be ready to talk your ear off!
Bridesmaid
Sister of the bride/ Sister-in-law of the groom Growing up, Delaney and Maddy shared a passion for making each other's lives a living hell. When they weren’t actively trying to kill each other they could be seen playing Rock Band and Just Dance. Delaney beat Maddy every time, obviously. Thankfully as they grew older their desire to kill each other slowly faded away and now they bond over their love for thrifting and drinking (water of course!). Delaney is also better at these. Obviously. Talk to her about coffee recommendations, what Maddy was like as a kid, baking, and anything else! She is also known to give great hugs, so if you’re in need of one don’t be shy to ask!
Groomsman
Friend/Teammate of the Groom Nick started off as Colin's freshman roommate on the 7th floor of Towers at Duquesne. If they weren't studying hard, they were terrorizing opponents on the soccer pitch, gambling on video games (FIFA) or ordering Pizza Milano at 2am. Nick is currently a physical therapist in the wonderful state of New Jersey. Talk to him about his grandma's homemade Italian tomato sauce, the NY Giants teams from 2007 & 2011 (no other years), shopping at Costco, or that sore shoulder that has been troubling you.
Bridesmaid
Sister of the groom/ Sister-in-law of the bride Growing up, she and Colin shared a love of sports, Rock Band, and trendy fashion choices (pictures available on request). While she never fully caught Colin’s flare for frugality, she instantly connected with Maddy’s excitement about thrift shopping, and they would be constantly swapping clothes if they lived closer to one another. Clara is currently in Toronto and studying engineering in grad school. Talk to her about anything to do with dogs, shin splints, breakfast foods, or sitcoms. She’ll be the last one on the dance floor - place your bets!
Groomsman
Childhood Best Friend of the Groom Yoon Jang (AKA Thomas), moved to Canada from South Korea in grade 4 and quickly made friends with Colin and Ryan (the best man). I guess second best is acceptable.. The trio spent their childhood hanging out every weekend, playing soccer, and teaching Yoon Jang cuss words before he even had a chance to understand English. They’ve been through it all together, from workouts in the middle of the night with bellies full of all-you-can-eat sushi, to drunken walks to McDonald’s at 5am to eat breakfast after a long night of partying. Somehow Colin convinced Yoon Jang to walk into a window as if he didn’t see it, and found out why they call it a window(pain)! Don’t worry, it didn’t shatter! Talk to Yoon Jang about lasers, Starcraft II or Chelsea F.C.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride Sophia (also known as Sofa) and Maddy became close friends in high school, and lived together in the infamous M street house during college. They bond over a shared love of food, true crime, and the Avengers. They hope to one day live in the same city so they can revive taco night. Sofa works in endoscopy and is currently taking pre-requisites to apply for nursing school. Talk to her about your favorite podcasts, astrology, your weirdest medical stories, or your favorite Maddy moments.
Groomsman
Friend/Roommate of the Groom Straight out of the land of the Kangaroos, way down under. People hide your daughters. Strong as an Ox, Chris Stockdale is the name. Making pina coladas is his game. Age.. unknown. After years at the edge of the earth, he made his way to the land of the free, to kick a football through a big H. He probably got his diploma as well. Wears a suit from time to time. Don’t get it twisted, this guy is a warrior. Just ask him and he’ll show you where he’s been. Oh yeah, he also roomed with Colin, Nick and Kadeem. Those were the golden years! No one knows what he’s doing now but everyone knows he’ll be getting down and stirring up pina coladas on September 4th 2022! Talk to Chris about hiking, beer, and his many stories growing up in Australia.
Bridesmaid
Bestie and official girl crush of the bride You may know her as the face behind Maddy and Colin’s wedding photos. Alainna and Maddy met getting their DPT together in DC, where they bonded over their love for Marvel movies, emo music, and being eco friendly. Together her and Maddy have (successfully) scoured the DMV area for the best thrift stores and created a bumpin’ Spotify playlist called “GIRL CRUSH” (sorry Colin). Talk to her about photography, the climate crisis, skeleton decor, and her latest thrift finds. Bonus points if you can find her a cider instead of a beer.
Groomsman
Friend/Roommate/Teammate of the Groom Kadeem is the definition of a gentle giant. At 6’6” and coming all the way from the Netherlands, he found a place to call home and pursue a basketball career at Duquesne University. After 2 years he traded his Jordan’s for boots to play collegiate soccer with Colin. Colin and Kadeem enhanced their friendship while being teammates and roommates during this time. It is still a mystery whether or not Kadeem ever stepped foot into the library while in school. Speaking of mysteries, ask him what his latest job is or where he is currently living. No one ever seems to know the answer. Kadeem is one of the most friendly and genuine people you will ever meet and he would be happy to talk about all of his life experiences having grown up in Europe.
