Our wedding weekend falls during Homecoming at Moravian University, which means Bethlehem will be full of energy and activity. Saturday morning features the Homecoming parade, tailgate, and football game, along with additional events throughout the weekend. Many of our guests are proud Moravian alumni, so it’s a fun and familiar weekend to be back on campus.
Our wedding weekend also lines up with Oktoberfest at ArtsQuest on Bethlehem’s SouthSide. The festival features great food, plenty of beer, local vendors, live entertainment—and, of course, the Wiener Dog Races. It’s a fun spot to explore if you’re looking for something festive to do during the weekend.
Main Street Bethlehem is one of our favorite places to spend time, and we hope you enjoy exploring it during the weekend. There are plenty of great restaurants, including McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub, Tapas on Main, Urbano Mexican Kitchen & Bar, and Thai Thai II. And you can’t forget the shopping—some of our favorite stops are Donegal Square, Paisley Sun, the Moravian Book Shop, and The Gem Shoppe. There are many other fun spots along the way, so feel free to wander and take it all in.
Wind Creek Bethlehem is close by and has a casino, spa, and an events center with concerts and shows happening all year. It’s a fun place to unwind or check out some entertainment while you’re in town.
