I know that I will not be checking in to the lodge at the scheduled time on Friday. How do I pay for my stay?

Answer

If you are unable to pay your balance on Friday at check-in, you can pay any of The Black Diamond Lodge staff on the wedding day (Saturday).

Is food provided at the lodge?

Answer

Food will be provided throughout the weekend as a courtesy to our guests for making the trip out to Colorado. However, we will be asking for volunteers to help cook some meals -- this will be an interactive weekend :) Breakfast and some lunches may be self-serve. Other than the wedding ceremony, are there other events during the weekend?

Answer

Yes! We would like to spend as much time as possible with everyone who is making the journey to Durango. Please plan on attending all the events! See website's "Schedule" page for details.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that you dress in semi-formal for the wedding ceremony + reception. Throughout the rest of the weekend, wear whatever you wish!

Is there transportation from the lodge to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be on the The Black Diamond Lodge property and it is a short walk from the lodge. For those with mobility limitations, a golf cart will be available for transportation.

Do you have hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please wait to book your accommodations until after we have reached out to you with details on reserving a room in the lodge. We would like to try to have as many guests as possible stay in the lodge, but it will depend on RSVPs for the weekend. Thank you!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at the lodge that can be used throughout the entire weekend.

Are kids welcome? And what about my dog?

Answer

Yes, your kids are welcome! And your fur baby, too, as long as they are people/dog friendly. (FYI: the Lodge requires a pet deposit fee that you are responsible for. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to bring your dog.)

We ask that you only bring a plus-one if it is established on your invite. Thank you!
