Coronado Beach is a must-visit, known for its soft, sparkling sand and postcard-worthy views near the iconic Hotel del Coronado. It’s great for swimming, long walks, or catching a gorgeous sunset. If you’re looking for something a little more low-key, Silver Strand Beach offers a quieter stretch of coastline with equally beautiful scenery. For a quick and scenic way to get to Coronado or just to enjoy some stunning views of the San Diego skyline we recommend taking a ride on the Coronado Ferry Terminal. The ferry offers a short, relaxing trip across the bay, making it a fun and stress-free way to arrive in town. From the ferry, you’ll get incredible photo opportunities of downtown San Diego, the harbor, and the iconic Coronado Bridge. Once you arrive, it’s just a short walk to the heart of Coronado, with charming shops, restaurants, and, of course, the beach. Even if you don’t take it for transportation, the ride itself is a scenic adventure and a perfect way to start or end a day exploring the area. It’s especially fun for out-of-town guests who want a taste of the city without the hassle of driving or parking!
