FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Attire is Business Casual. It may still be chilly in Florida early March (the monthly average high is 73 with a low of 47) so we suggest bringing sleeves just in case. You will be able to stay on paved/concrete walkways under overhead cover the entire time but will have the option to roam along the sloping grassy hills out back if wanted for yard games during cocktail hour.

Question

Where do I stay?

Answer

(1) Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn in Crestview (~25min drive from venue) (2) Check Airbnb.com and rent a room or house nearby (3) Destin Beach (~1hr from venue) (4) Pensacola Beach (~1hr 20 min from venue)

Question

What type of food will we be eating?

Answer

There will be a cocktail hour and appetizers after the ceremony while the wedding party is taking photos, and dinner will be BBQ themed (to include plenty of both meat and vegetarian options) plus of course some cake! Please let us know ASAP if you have any food allergies (text Emma at 678-863-2527)

Question

Is there going to be an open bar?

Answer

You bet! We will have an open wine and beer bar at no charge to you (but will also be providing water and sweet tea or lemonade). If you plan to partake in the open bar please consider bringing some small bill cash to tip our bartenders who will be working very hard to ensure everyone has a great time!

Question

What is the parking and transportation situation?

Answer

There is a large parking lot at the facility and should you choose to Taxi or Uber or share a ride home, vehicles may stay parked overnight as long as they are picked up prior to 9am the following morning (or we'll get a fine so please don't leave them past 9am the following morning!) Of note, there are not typically many Uber drivers in this area so a taxi is likely your best option. We will let the local taxi service know our event is happening so there will likely be some already available to you and parked out front throughout the evening.

Question

Are pets allowed?

Answer

Sorry, no! Our cat Benjen is disappointed too.
