We're getting married y'all!

We matched on the app Hinge and had our first date at Gibson Street Bar in Austin. We both knew right off the bat that we were super compatible and that this could be something pretty special. Dating was such a fun time for us as we not only became best friends but truly got to know one another and talk about our dreams, fears, and faith. We fell in love pretty quickly and knew that God brought us together for a reason! When the coronavirus hit and things became so chaotic and unknown, we prayed for guidance and focused on what's important and knew that God had brought us together forever! We can't wait to tell our grandkids about getting engaged during a worldwide pandemic!

We took a trip out to Fredricksburg to get away for Memorial Day weekend (and for another special surprise!) On Saturday morning we tried to go to Enchanted Rock to hike, but sadly couldn't get in without a reservation (dang coronavirus!) We were recommended to visit Cross Mountain instead. We hiked to the top and Garrett got down on one knee! This was truly the best day of our lives.
