Our story began ten years ago in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, where we both spent our summers working at Gordy’s Marine on the piers. We filled summer nights with friends, sunset surfing, and countless late nights at Chuck’s and Gordy’s—just another classic LG summer romance! As the seasons passed, we grew closer, both living in downtown Chicago. We spent six amazing years there, creating a life and sharing many wonderful memories with our beloved dog, Marley. Together, we've always cherished our weekdays in Chicago, summers at the lake, and winter holidays in Florida with our families. Naples has become such a special place to us, and we can't wait to share it with all of you!

Dan planned the most incredible proposal. It started with a letter he wrote for me to read while driving to the engagement, which made me turn back and change into a different dress LOL. When I arrived, he was waiting on his pier with our dog Marley by his side. After popping the question, Dan had one more surprise—a party with all of our closest friends and family, who had traveled from near and far to celebrate with us.
