It all began in 2019 when Christian and Jennifer met during their internships in Washington, D.C.. Christian was David’s roommate, and Jennifer, his best friend, so they quickly became friends too. What started as a casual friendship soon turned into something special—traveling together to Las Vegas, Christian visiting Miami multiple times, and sharing countless unforgettable moments. During the pandemic, their bond grew even stronger. Christian, as determined as ever, would drive over 10 hours from Mississippi to Miami just to see her. After many road trips, late-night calls, and cherished moments, they officially became a couple on January 4, 2021. Together, they have explored the world, beautifully blending their cultures—Christian embracing Hispanic traditions and Jennifer discovering more about American culture. In August 2021, they took another big step and moved in together in Washington, D.C., where they have built their home and navigated adulthood side by side. Then, on July 29, 2024, Christian got down on one knee at the National Gallery of Art, a place filled with their sweetest memories. It was the perfect spot for the most important question—and, of course, Jennifer said yes!
