We met on mutual, an online LDS dating app. Ed sent the first message on Nov 16th, 2017. Heather was pleasantly surprised by his interest in her photos and stories. We messaged back and forth through the Thanksgiving break, thanks to Ed's photo challenge suggestion. Our first face to face meeting was on Nov 27th and we were immediately smitten with each other. It has been a non stop adventure ever since!

We LOVE to play outdoors. Heather's dream is to complete a half ironman. Ed's interest in triathlons has been rejuvenated as he has helped her in accomplishing this goal. As part of our training, we participated in the Beaver Freezer sprint triathlon on April 1st, 2017. Ed rushed to the finish line to prepare his proposal. Heather had no idea what was waiting for her when she completed the race. A she crossed the finish line Ed was nervously waiting to congratulate her. He immediately got on one knee and pretended that he was taking off her time chip. Instead he pulled out a ring and asked her to marry him. The entire proposal was caught on film and there was plenty of rejoicing and lots of kissing!
