As rumor has it, Vanessa (V) used to wait for Hector (H) after each class; running MILES just to see him...WRONG! But why not let Hector have a bigger head than he already does, ha ha! Vanessa and Hector both went to James Ford Rhodes high school on Cleveland's westside, and started out as friends. They hung out in the same friends circle and became super close. After a while, V developed a little crush but wasn't sure if H felt the same . However an unexpected sneaked kiss in the school stairwell was all the confirmation she needed! Mind you, H ran away as soon as he did it 😂😂😂. They started dating soon after and became high school sweethearts. They spent as much time together as they could, going to restaurants, Cleveland sports events, and going on movie dates with the free tickets Vanessa got from her job at AMC theatre lol. V and H’s friendship and love grew over the years; Vanessa’s big bubbly personality combined with Hector’s calm and goofy nature, made it easy for them to enjoy and live life together. Because life has a habit of kicking everyone’s culo as they grow into adulthood 😅, V&H temporarily went their separate ways. They dated other people, went to school, worked, etc. But the memories they had made and the connection they shared, was something that couldn’t be forgotten or replaced. Their love grew even stronger when they had two little girls together: Amaris and Amaya. V&H decided to make the life long commitment to one another and in February of 2021, Hector proposed to Vanessa surrounded by their closest friends and family. And although no one said it out loud at the time, everyone was thinking: “ITS ABOUT TIME!”😂😂 Of present, Vanessa and Hector are both currently working full-time jobs, running their new pizza parlor/ice cream shop, and taking care of their family! Although it’s taken some long days and sleepless nights for them to get here, there’s no place they’d rather be than celebrating this super special day with everyone who means the most to them.
