We matched on Sunday, December 29th, 2024. We messaged back and forth for hours. He asked me on a date and of course I said "yes"! We made plans for that Wednesday, January 1st-- Ramen, perfect for a cold January day. Plot twist-- I was drinking with my BFF on New Years Eve and thought it would be a great idea to tell him to come to Rojo where we were having margs. An hour later, he was standing in front of me. We both had an instant smile on our faces! We hugged, and he hung out for about an hour, before going to his friends house for a night of games. Wednesday came and we met at Ichiddo Ramen next to Ridgedale Mall. He got there before me and was already at a table. I walked up, and again, both instant smiles. He brought me flowers!! They were so pretty. We sat at Ichiddo for about 2 hours before we decided to go over to the mall and walk around. We were there for another 2 hours. We had so much fun! Visited many stores, got ice cream, and planned our second date for the following Saturday! We decided on Can Can Wonderland and had SO MUCH FUN! After spending 3 hours at Can Can Wonderland we realized we were hungry and didn't want the date to end, so we went for Mexican food. After dinner, we still didn't want to part ways so we went to see Mufasa. By the end of the date, we both knew this was it. The following Saturday, 2 weeks after meeting, he asked me to be official!! A few months later, we started taking about spending our lives together. We went to get our fingers sized for rings, and ended up designing my engagement ring!! We spent so much time together and with each others families. September came and Adam took me Lake Harriet to walk around the lake. We went to the rose garden, where he got down on one knee and asked me to spend my life with him. It was so perfect! Better than I could have imagined! Both of our best friends were there to take pictures! After the proposal, we went to Tavern on France for dinner where he surprised me with both of our families! It was literally the perfect day! Here we are now, planning our wedding and SO EXCITED to spend our lives together!!
