It's Finally happening!

Tommy and I met the week of New Years 2015 in Wisconsin Dells. He spent the first couple of days playing hard to get and I spent them flirting with him. The last night, I remember Tommy had an Angry Orchard and I decided to ask him for one. He didn't want to share, but when he was generous enough to give me a sip, I drained the rest of his bottle and handed it back to him. He wasn't happy, but hey, we were glued to each other the rest of the night after that. When the trip ended, we kept in touch a little and that lead to hanging out almost every day. Tommy made me wait about 3 months before he officially asked me out!

Tommy took me to one of our favorite diners for breakfast and then he told me we had to go to the grocery store to get something for lunch. The whole drive up to Devil's Lake, I had no idea where he was taking me and I didn't figure it out until I spotted the Baraboo sign on the highway. Knowing Autumn is my favorite season, Tommy told me he just wanted me to see how beautiful the state park was this time of year. We spent the 6 mile hike going off-trail, goofing around, and taking a lot of pictures. When we finally got to this one cliff, Tommy said he wanted to put his phone down so we could have some pictures of the both of us looking out at the landscape (boy, did he have me fooled). When we were done with the last set of "pictures", I turned to Tommy to see him getting on one knee and my heart stopped. I was so shocked that I couldn't even give him a verbal response after he asked me to marry him! There was a lot of hugs and kisses, tears of joy, and laughter. The hike back down the trail was spent with me asking a million questions about his proposal preparation and excited chatter about our wedding. We couldn't wait to get back home to tell everyone.
