Black Tie Optional Explained: Black tie optional gives men and women the option of taking traditional formal dress down a tad. Men can opt for a dark suit and tie instead of a tux. Hang out close to the chapel in case we need you for photos, but explore the historic grounds (especially the gardens) while you enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres and drinks. After about an hour or so of mingling, snacking, exploring and photos, the newlyweds will meet you in what they call the "classroom" of the welcome center for a buffet style meal, toasts and cake.

Join us for an intimate meal where our two families can come together as one and celebrate our union. There won't be any dancing, but we will have some entertainment, good food, great company and hopefully lots of toasts will be made and stories of the love birds will be told. We invite whoever wishes to say a few words any time throughout the meal.

We feel fairly certain that we will still be buzzing from all the love and excitement we'll experience throughout the day so we want to invite anyone and everyone to join us out on the town for drinks and dancing to keep the celebration going. Location TBD and we are open to suggestions. Be safe and lets all coordinate designated transportation to and from this location!!
