Maid of Honor
Abby Lennartson has been my best friend since summer band in 6th grade. Middle school can be a warzone and I was anxious about making friends. Our siblings were fiends so I used this to introduce myself. Little did I know I had found my battle buddy bestie for life. Abby is my hype girl. The one who makes me feel confident about doing anything I might be hesitant of doing. She is the funniest and most supportive friend. I’m so thankful she agreed to stand beside me on my wedding day.
Maid of Honor
Maddie “Watermelon Girl” Swenson has been my best friend since Tiny Tots preschool when we were three. We grew up playing soccer together and living at each other’s houses. The fist time my younger brother met Maddie, she was wearing a watermelon on her shirt deeming her “Watermelon Girl” for the rest of her life. Maddie is the sweetest, kindest person with the most adorable obsessions (like Marvel, purple, and polar bears). I am so honored and blessed to have her stand beside me on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Maria and I quickly became friends through soccer. Maria never fails to make me laugh. She is the most fun-loving, goofy, down-to-earth person. We have endless inside jokes and many valuable memories. I am so thankful to have her in my life and to have her support in the most important day of my life.
Bridesmaid
I am beyond blessed (and excited) to be gaining Ashley as my sister! Ashley and I bonded over being with a Zizzo boy. Zach and his brother, Alex, have many of the same mannerisms and quirks, so Ashley understands better than anyone. Ashley is a kind-hearted and funny future sister, and I couldn’t be more honored that she agreed to be a big part of my wedding day. I am so fortunate to have her as a sister.
Bridesmaid
Mel was my classroom neighbor and quickly became my teacher bestie while we were at Rio Rico High School. Mel is the bright spot in everybody’s day, and a person I truly aspire to be more like. She is unbelievably motivated and gives 110% to everything she commits to. She opened up her home and family to us during the holiday season two years ago, and since then, she been considered as family. She is my coffee-obsessed, fashionista inspiration.
Best Man
Alex Zizzo is Zachary’s older brother. Alex has been an unspoken role model for Zachary and has and supported Zach through his lifetime. No one understands Zachary better than Alex. Alex’s quick wit and charisma always makes spending time together fun and entertaining. We are honored to have Alex stand beside Zachary at the alter.
Groomsman
Nick Grove is Zachary’s childhood best friend. He has seen our relationship blossom and grow and has been there with us through it all; from our fist date, to now standing beside us on our wedding day.
Groomsman
Cody Zizzo is Zachary’s younger brother. Cody is the spinning image of Zachary when he was younger. Cody is talented and driven. He is passionate about basketball and is the king of the court. He will go on to accomplish great things. We are so thankful he has agreed to play a significant role in our special day.
Groomsman
Levi Zizzo is Zachary’s younger brother. Levi loves deeply and is so kind and caring. He loves animals (sloths most of all), and is the only other person our dog Paisley has formed an attachment to. We are excited to see all the great things Levi will go on to accomplish in his life. We are so thankful he has agreed to be a big part of our special day.
Groomsman
Estrada has quickly become a great personal friend to us both. He was the Principal at Rio Rico High School where I worked my second year of teaching. He knew Zach and I were both from Minnesota and didn’t have family around during the holidays; however, this soon changed as he welcomed us into his own family to celebrate Thanksgiving. Thank you for becoming a part of our family. We are so honored to have him stand next to us as we enter into our marriage. We aspire to have a marriage like yours and Mel’s.
