Heather and Tyler met in the spring of 2018, during the remodel of the local Walmart. She was hired on for the remodel, while he was volunteering to help from the distribution center. Most of the volunteering warehouse crew had moved to the morning shift, the same shift that Heather was on, and that’s when they met for the first time. Tyler’s parents were throwing a party one weekend, and were going around and inviting some coworkers. Heather jokingly asked if she was invited, and Tyler said “yes” right away. The night of the party, she got his phone number, and from that moment on they never stopped talking. Not a single day went without text messages, phone calls and snap chats being exchanged. Time went on, and Heather had gone through a hard separation with an ex boyfriend and had to leave the place she called home and start over again. Tyler and his parents took her in with open arms and did their best to make her feel welcome. The two had feelings for each other before then, and had made it known to each other, but didn’t want to officially become a couple as they had both just gotten out of their respective relationships. August 9th, 2018, the first official day of the rest of their lives. The day they decided to not care what everyone else thought or felt about the two of them and just be together. Now they’re best friends, lovers, and soulmates who are looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together in harmony.
Heather and Tyler went up to Duck Creek with some good friends and his parents. They were all there to do some riding around, sightseeing, drinking, and just all around have a great time for four days. Little did she know, Tyler had another plan in mind. On the second night, July 30th, He nervously gathered everyone around in the cabin they were staying in and had the stereo temporarily turned off. Tyler took her hand and guided her to the living room, he told her how much he loved her, how much she meant to him, and got down on one knee, ring in hand and nervously, asked the question that everyone stood around waiting to hear. “Will you do me the honors of marrying me?” She ecstatically said yes as tears began to stream down her face. The two hugged and kissed, and the good times in the cabin became a celebration as everyone shared tears and cheers with one another.
