The summer of 2016, Spencer had just gradated from BSC and Heather was attending Chattanooga State, both serving at the Terminal Brewhouse. One shift Spencer decided to ask Heather out on a romantic date of Buffalo Wild Wings and Finding Dory, how could she say no? The food? 10/10. Movie? 10/10. And to top it off they ended the date walking the river front watching the sunset, listening to Disney music. Who knew that would be the start of a beautiful journey leading to them becoming husband and wife?

When 2020 started the plane tickets were booked for Maui, HI going as boyfriend and girlfriend, returning as fiancés. But since a global pandemic arose, there was no choice but to cancel the vacation. That was not going to deter Spencer, he decided to bring it back to where it all started, the Chattanooga river front. It may not have been a beach front paradise but it held so much more meaning.
