Saxon and Heather first met as freshman at La Cueva High School in 1999. They were friends throughout that time, but lost touch as they pursued their educations: Saxon at UNM and Heather at UNLV. Fifteen years later, after a conversation with one of Heather's best friends, Saxon was encouraged to reach out to her while on vacation in San Diego, where Heather was living. Saxon extended his trip an extra night just to take Heather out.. and the rest is history! After many plane flights and suitcases, Heather moved back to Albuquerque and they started their happy life together. Not long after, they adopted their dog, Bowie, and moved into their dream home in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains. Saxon proposed on a perfect Fall morning.. Heather asked him to make her breakfast and he responded, "Of course..but first will you marry me?" Heather was thrilled to say, "YES!" Saxon and Heather are so excited to celebrate their love story in their most beautiful home state... see you in Santa Fe!
