We are getting married!

My friend and I had been following Ryan's band, Kelli Said, for several months. One would call us groupies, I suppose. We finally got invited to a private party the band was playing at. Ryan approached my friend (who was male) and asked about our relationship. Brandon said, "Oh she is single and we are not a couple...would you like to meet her?" We spent the rest of that evening talking until the sun came up. It was complicated at first, since he was still in a relationship that wasn't going well. I continued to see the band and made it clear that I was in no position to break up an existing couple. Well, it only took about another month before a permanent decision was made and we became a couple in September of 2016.
